We've reached the midpoint of the Montreal D1 season, and the playoff picture is starting to take shape. This weekend features four critical matchups that could determine seeding for the postseason. ## Game 1: Thunder (3-0) vs Blitz (2-1) *Sunday, 2:00 PM* The Thunder look to stay undefeated against a Blitz team that's been playing better each week. The Thunder's high-powered offense against the Blitz's ball-hawking secondary should make for an entertaining matchup. ## Game 2: Lightning (2-1) vs Storm (2-1) *Sunday, 4:00 PM* A battle of .500+ teams with major playoff implications. Both teams need this win to stay in the hunt for a top-two seed. ## Game 3: Surge (1-2) vs Flash (1-2) *Sunday, 6:00 PM* Neither team can afford another loss if they want to make the playoffs. This is essentially an elimination game for both squads. ## Game 4: Volt (0-3) vs Spark (0-3) *Monday, 7:00 PM* Someone has to win! Both teams are looking to avoid the winless season and build some momentum for the second half. ## Playoff Picture Currently, the Thunder control their own destiny for the top seed.
