Rush Remains Undefeated Through Six Weeks

The Rush improved to 6-0 on the season with a hard-fought 21-14 victory over the Pulse on Sunday, keeping their perfect record intact and all but clinching the top seed in the D2 playoffs. ## Defense Wins Championships For the sixth consecutive week, the Rush defense held their opponent to 14 points or fewer. Coordinator James Wilson has built a unit that excels at creating pressure while rarely giving up big plays. "We take pride in our preparation," said Rush linebacker Eric Gagnon. "We know every team's tendencies, and we're always in the right position." ## Grinding It Out Unlike their previous blowout wins, Sunday's game was a battle until the final whistle. The Pulse came to play and kept the game close throughout, but the Rush made plays when it mattered most. Quarterback Ryan Thompson connected with receiver Marc-André Bouchard for the go-ahead touchdown with just over three minutes remaining, and the defense held firm to preserve the win. ## Looking Ahead The Rush will look to complete the perfect regular season over their final two games before the playoffs begin. While the top seed is essentially locked up, head coach Daniel Morin isn't taking anything for granted. "We're not satisfied yet. The goal is a championship, and we have a lot of work to do before we get there."
